I have FINALLY moved out of the most depressing living situation I have ever lived in in my life (and that is saying a lot, buhlieve me)and now live in the most wonderful, serene, awesome, clean, amazing, peaceful, healthy apartment! I think I appreciate more than I ever could because I was so miserable for so long but NOW!!!!! I AM SO HAPPPPPPPPY!!!!

My neybs are a pretty interesting bunch. There is a little girl across the street that moans out her window all day. It used to really fucking irritate me until I realized she is deaf and her mom walks around with her on a leash. Then I was again reminded of what a horrible person I am.

You know what I will say about living in NYC probably because i am getting old and came out of the womb with a general feeling of being over it... when the ether wears off and youre kind of over going to shows, and youre over all of the bars, you've gone to all of the parks, and galleries and restaurants you wanted to you start to wonder... wait, why am I paying 1400 a month in rent??? I can go to work, make dinner and watch wierd documentaries in a much cheaper town. Then you begin to fantasize about applepicking and climbing trees, and hiking, bike rides along the Corning Preserve, family bbqs. I'm going to move back up north to make babies at some point I suppose, although I am kind of addicted to it down here... if you care my lovelies.

And what is it with people saying Bushwick has cheap rent? Yes, cheap compared to Manhattan, probably the most expensive city to live in in the US (perhaps world) but unless you are living with 800 other "hipsters" in a bed bug infested loft, shits not cheap...Don't believe the hype. Then again I'm from Albany, where it literally costs nothing to live. They may actually pay you to live there. You could try and work that out, but you'll have to spend all of the money you save in rent on anti-depressants so, you do the math.

I had a dream last night that I was packed in a crowded bar, I had a lei around my neck and I was drinking some strange rum drink. I was staring at a stage with blow up palm trees, paper cut out girls in grass skirts and what I believe was a huge portrait of JJ Abrams amongst the various instruments. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye a huge cardboard plane came flying by me crashing into the corner of the room. Smoke began billowing off the stage and a gang of boys ascended and began playing music... but all of the lyrics were recaps of episodes of Lost!

When they finished the crowd went wild and the season premier of Lost started playing on this huge movie screen behind the stage. People were talking to the screen and at times yelling and the dream ended with a Lost nerd asking for my phone number.

So strange considering I have never watched an episode in my life...

I was also told that I said that this person probably ate whole wheat cookies when really feeling wild, but I don't even remember that gem. life has been so full of starvation, psychopaths, and charles shaw that I barely have enough time to write :) How can a girl keep her priorities straight at times like these?!

I also contemplate writing and get annoyed with how I just want to write about music I have seen or just got into, but that shit is so boooooooring, snooooooooze. Plus I can't figure out how to post mp3s to this thing otherwise I'd be posting everyday with a theme song... which I have visions of doing. snore.
